Reddit Toolkit
The Reddit toolkit connects Arcade agents to Reddit via OAuth, enabling reading and writing across posts, comments, and subreddits on behalf of authenticated users.
Capabilities
- Identity & account: Retrieve the authenticated user's username and their own post history.
- Subreddit exploration: Check subreddit existence and access status, fetch post listings (new, top, controversial, etc.) with metadata, and retrieve subreddit rules.
- Post reading: Fetch the full body of one or many posts efficiently in a single call.
- Comment reading: Retrieve the first page of top-level comments on any post.
- Content creation: Submit new text posts to a subreddit, comment on posts, and reply to existing comments.
OAuth
Authentication is handled via OAuth 2.0 through Reddit. See the Reddit auth provider docs for setup details.
